Terms of Service - ROBOTKAO

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the robotkao website (the "Site") or purchasing our products. By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

2. Products

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our products — colors, materials, and sizing — but slight variations may occur due to screen display or the limited-run nature of some pieces. robotkao operates on a limited-release model: products are released in limited quantities and are not guaranteed to be restocked once sold out.

3. Prices

All prices are listed in Euros (€) except in US Dollars ($) for USA customers. TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI (VAT exemption for micro-entrepreneurs below the applicable threshold). We may change prices at any time; changes won't affect orders already confirmed.

4. Orders

By placing an order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're legally able to enter into a binding contract. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — including in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or stock unavailability — in which case you'll be refunded in full.

An order confirmation email does not itself constitute acceptance of your order; the contract of sale is formed once your order ships.

5. Payment

Payment is due in full when you place your order. We accept credit/debit card, PayPal,... processed securely via Shopify. We don't have access to your credit card informations neither never store your full card details.

6. Delivery

See our Shipping Policy for delivery zones, timeframes, and costs. Risk of loss and title to the products pass to you on delivery.

8. Legal Warranty

All products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (French Consumer Code, art. L.217-3 et seq.) and the warranty against hidden defects (French Civil Code, art. 1641 et seq.), regardless of your country of residence.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including the robotkao name, logo, skull rat mascot, hardware and original button design, product designs, photography, and text — is the exclusive property of robotkao and is protected by copyright, trademark, and design rights. Reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior written consent is prohibited and will be legally attacked.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, robotkao is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or our products, including delays caused by carriers or customs authorities beyond our control.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.

12. Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, contact us first at contact@robotkao.com to seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, and as required for French professionals selling to consumers, you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator. Absent an amicable or mediated resolution, disputes will be submitted to the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available under your own country's law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time of your order is the one that applies.
